Cookie policy

This page explains how DeFi-MC and the related website may use cookies and similar technologies, and what choices you have.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use a website. “Similar technologies” include, for example, local storage or pixels where used.

2. Which cookies do we use?

In general we distinguish:

  • Strictly necessary cookies/storage: for core functionality (e.g. session, language, security, load balancing). Legal basis: legitimate interest and/or contract performance (Art. 6 (1)(b), (f) GDPR).
  • Preference cookies: remember settings you actively choose (e.g. cookie consent), where provided.
  • Statistics/marketing: only if you have consented or where otherwise lawful, configurable separately.

3. Lifespan and providers

Some cookies are session cookies and are removed when you close the browser; others remain for a defined period. Third-party cookies are subject to the respective provider’s privacy notice.

4. Consent and withdrawal

Where we rely on more than strictly necessary cookies, we obtain your consent where required by law (e.g. via a consent banner). You may withdraw consent with future effect by reopening cookie settings in the application or configuring your browser to block or delete cookies.

5. Browser settings

Most browsers let you reject or delete cookies. Note: blocking all cookies may limit DeFi-MC functionality.

6. Contact

For more information on processing personal data, see our privacy policy.

Updates: We may update this policy when technology or legal requirements change.
